Welcome to my Home Page
I am a motorcyclist. My father introduced me to them, and most people I knew when I was a child and a youth had a motorcycle either solo or with a sidecar at some time or another. This was a post war economy in Britain when the buses, trains and bicycles were the normal transport to and from work. My dad was a bricklayer and although he had a car license he used a motor cycle and sidecar, preferably a Vee Twin Royal Enfield or a P and M Panther.
In 1959 I became a motorcyclist and for the next forty or more years a motorcycle
was my preferred mode of transport -
Inside these pages you will discover an ordinary bloke with some strange ideas.
Most of the stories and poems in this site are related to the things that I have
done and the places where I have lived or been to -
